Jesse Kline brings more than 20 years of design experience in dynamic advertising centers including New York City, Honolulu, and San Francisco, to his position as art director and owner of Klineworks. Jesse started his career working with leading lifestyle magazines and publications including Village Voice, GQ, Elle, and Us. In San Francisco he worked for the healthcare and high tech industries, and also re-branded and art directed 3 dot com startups there. In 2001 he and his family came to Hawaii, where he served as Graphics Program Coordinator for the Waikiki Aquarium for 3 years. Recently, he worked at Honolulu's largest advertising agencies: Milici Valenti Ng Pack, and 2 years at Laird Christianson Advertising.

His exposure over the years to a broad spectrum of products, industries and people, gives him a broad base of experience and design expertise. He has worked with a diverse set of clients and agencies including Elle Magazine, McCann, McDonald's, The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA), Ogilvy, Oracle, Pfizer, Revlon, Searle, Starbucks, Starwood Hotels, Visa, and others.

Jesse has taught typography and graphic design at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Kapiolani Community College and California College of the Arts.
